a practice for when you feel inner turmoil

when one part of you want to start your day with effort and sweat, but another part of you wants to put on sweatpants, sip coffee and be tender

Greetings! First off, I made this voice note accessible to all subscribers, so it’s available to all! It’s short & sweet and a very impromptu share around ways we can make peace and compromise between the various parts of ourselves. For me, this morning, it looked like cultivating space for the part of me that wanted to do the fiery movement practice with the part that wanted to be tender and cruise with a coffee in my sweatpants. While it may sound like a trivial conundrum, this type of inner conflict or turmoil can cause a lot of anxiety for me — whether that’s because of a past eating disorder or not I can’t be sure. No matter the inner conflict at hand, it’s a nice reminder for us all that it doesn’t have to be black and white! We can have it all!
