Hello hello! As many of y’all know, Kyle and I got married last weekend and had a very sweet, special day with our family. While the day felt very intimate, I felt it was important to capture the moments, so photo and video content will be shared soon! Also, we’ve officially entered summer, and I couldn’t be more excited to settle into the rhythms of this playful season. I wrote a summer solstice post last year that I reread and still holds really true! I spoke of how we have the opportunity with this day to either think, oh god, the days are only getting shorter now, or, we can opt to soak it up, be present, and SAVOUR this wonderful season. What I find often helps, too, if having something in the calendar to look forward to as summer sunsets…annnnd with that, I have very special news to share.
I will be joining Marika Richoz (who I interviewed this year on Poetry in Motion) for an October retreat in beautiful Tofino, British Columbia…!!! The theme of the retreat is flourish, and the moment Marika described the intent and vision for it, I felt an immediate full-body yes. It felt so aligned with how I like to support people in feeling well: approaching our tools and techniques for longevity from the lens of abundance versus restriction, and focusing on all of the ways we can add to our meals, rituals, relationships and movement practices versus taking away. The retreat will embody the essence of what it means to flourish through how we’ll move, nourish, play and rest over three nights and four days within the stunning, soul-supporting haven that is Tofino.
We’ll be cozying up in a beautiful private home that overlooks the Pacific Ocean – this house is absolutely beyond and boasts an outdoor heated pool, sauna and hot tub, as well as lots of space to connect with others or enjoy quiet time.

When
Thursday, October 2nd - Sunday, October 5th, 2025
The Itinerary
Thursday
Arrive, check in and connect with fellow retreat attendees over a long table family style dinner prepared by Marika, followed by a grounding breathwork & restorative yoga practice led by me.
Friday
We’ll start the day with Kundalini yoga led by Marika, followed by brunch and connection. I’ll be leading a workshop in the afternoon focused on ways we can infuse more joy and ease into the pursuit of feeling well, followed by Pilates and restorative yoga led by moi. We’ll then have snacks, free time to sauna, be in nature, rest, whatever you desire, followed by dinner prepared by Marika.
Saturday
I’ll lead us through a morning movement practice, followed by an optional ocean dip. We’ll enjoy brunch and time to connect, go for a nature walk, have some free time, and then have dinner in town at Wolf & the Fog (best!!!)
Sunday
I’ll guide us through our final movement practice, then we’ll have brunch and check out at 11am :)
I am so, so excited to embark on my first time co-leading a retreat with Marika, who is an absolute gem of a human, prepares the most nourishing food, and has lots of experience hosting retreats across the world. I would love for you to join us this fall and indulge in a cup-filling weekend to plug ourselves in as we enter fall and winter. Retreats offer such a nice balance of taking time out of your routine to be reflective and connect with yourself while introducing you to like-minded people and fostering connection with others. I feel honoured to step into the role of helping to facilitate that.
Any and all questions, let me know!
